| The Australopithecine genus was composed which was composed of between 5 and 10 separate species (depending on various theories). It is in this section that we hope to paint a picture of our past. These species are not just a bunch of names and specimen numbers, designated to site locations, these were living, breathing creatures just like you and I. We want to help you paint your own picture of what life was like during the times that these creatures roamed the earth. We aim to be as unbiased as possible, so we have gathered the information set forth from a number of different sources, representing many different schools of thought.
